Guitar Store Teacher Shirt

This shirt design is for a guitar shop/music school. The client wanted a fun design her teachers could wear. I went with a psychedelic motif and illustrated a fun and funky back graphic that incorporated a number of instruments they teach at the school.
Fuzz Devil Pedal Shirt

This shirt started life as an idea to honor my favorite guitar pedal. Obviously for copyright reasons I couldn’t use the actual pedal, so I manipulated a photo of the pedal in Adobe Illustrator, gave it a punky-photocopied look, and renamed it “Fuzz Devil.” I also changed the pi symbol to a little demon and changed the company name from “Electro Harmonix” to “Hellectro Harmonix.”
Lake Vibes Shirt

This is a fun illustration I came up with after seeing a souvenir “lake vibes” shirt at a restaurant. The first thing I thought of when I saw it was the movie Friday the 13th and Camp Crystal Lake. The rest of the design easily fell into place from there. The entire illustration was created in Adobe Illustrator. I utilized a number of fun tricks to give it that retro and distressed look and maintain its 100% vector construction.
Synthetic Man Shirt

This shirt was designed based on one of my songs. The image is a combination of two photos with additional effects in Photoshop. I also specifically wanted something on the back, so I included the line from the song “I dream in ones and zeroes” in binary. Here’s a look at the back:
