Save The Bees Brochure Concept
Here we have a concept for a brochure about the importance of bees in nature and what we can do to protect and nurture them. The written content was taken from the Bee Conservancy website and edited to better flow in a brochure format. Similar to the accompanying poster design, the brochure utilizes a rustic look to invoke the idea of something like a farmers market, which is very earthy and in the realm of what the intended audience might find interesting.
Hammer Pharmacy Anniversary Insert
This is a multi-page layout I designed for a local pharmacy’s 140 year anniversary. It was a special insert in the Sunday edition of the Des Moines Register newspaper. The customer had a lot of history they wanted to convey in what was effectively a three-page insert (the fourth page was only ads for other businesses). Since word space was limited, my idea was to have a running timeline around the main article with snippets of major events in the company’s history. Not only would it allow for the inclusion of much more information, but it would nicely tie the whole spread together and add visual interest throughout.
